Variation to Premises Licences – Hours & Conditions
A variation to a premises licence permits the licence holder to modify the existing terms of the licence. This can encompass changes to the hours during which licensable activities are allowed, the addition or removal of licensable activities, and amendments to the conditions under which these activities are conducted.

There are two types of variations: Minor Variations and Full Variations. For minor changes that do not impact the licensing objectives (e.g., minor adjustments to reduce hours, remove or add conditions, or revisions to the plan), a Minor Variation application can be submitted. This process is quicker and less costly than a Full Variation, which is required for more significant changes such as extending operating hours, adding additional licensable activities, or making substantial changes to the layout of the premises.
